I feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place with so many open spaces. One of my favorite places to walk is just above Pearrygin Lake, the views look west to the Sawtooth Wilderness, North Cascades and north to the Pasayten wilderness. In the spring these open meadows are full of wild flowers. In this painting, Mt. Gardner at almost 10,000' sits high above the lake catching the sunset. Wild flowers, Mountains, Lakes and a beautiful sunset, what more could you ask for.
